THE proportion of Australian music played on radio is under threat, according to recording industry groups, which say broadcasters have failed to consult adequately over changes to the radio codes of practice.

A working prototype of an integrated FM and digital station guide has been successfully developed, just five weeks after Digital Radio UK announced they were looking into it.


The results of the 1st capital city survey for 2010 have been released. Triple M has had a good survey with rises in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Triple J did well in Sydney and Gold rose strongly in Melbourne. Nova lost top position in Brisbane to B105 and Nova stations lost share in most other markets.


41 other speakers from 16 countries will address the European radio industry in March at the new event in Copenhagen.
